Default 55 hp necro questions

Ok I think I am close to getting the things for the 55 hp soloing build but I still got a few remaining questions:

1) Which one is more flexible to use: Spoil Victor or Spiteful Spirit?

2) Approximately how many superior runes are needed? I am thinking 3 superior Soul Reaping, 1 Blood (for the -50 grim cesta), and 1 Blood/Curses depending on SV or SS?

3) Would a standard 20/20 collector wand be good enough? Or is there something better to be acquired in Prophesies/Factions?

Thank you in advance.

1) Spoil victor and Spiteful Spirit have different uses, I personally use Spiteful Spirit almost all of the time excluding boss farming because it does area damage and over all just clocks up more damage per second because of this.

2) Use 2 Superior Soul Reaping runes and a Superior Curses Rune AND Superior Blood Rune, then you have the variations covered without having to have another piece of armor for when you want to switch elites.

3) A 20/20 collector wand would be decent for the build, however, I am sure that there are better options out there, I am just not sure of what they are ^^

Hope this helped =D

1) Not sure about flexibility as I don't have Factions for SV

2) For the runes you mentioned 2 superior blood runes but they won't stack...

3) For 55'ing most people recommend a melee weapon with +5 energy and 20% enchantment along with grim cesta.

SV works well for bosses and in some cases.
I prefer the SS 55 personally but it can be difficult to overcome bosses.

I use all runes and then double the cheepest. Use the cesta and a Fire Gladious +5 energy 20% enchants just to look Leet!

There's a collector in the Prophecies desert area which can give you such item:

Truncheon
Dark Dmg: 11~22 (Req 9 Curses)
Halves the recharge of Curses spells (Chance: 20%)
*Damage+20% (after customizing)

I personally recommend this one since it's easy to get and works well enough.

but if you have factions, you can easily get the ...wailing wand is it?
max damage, and gives 20/20 ...

but technically, if you are going for a good farming build, you should get a 1 handed melee weapon which gives +5 energy, and 20% enchanting buff...

Get the Totem Axe, Rajazan's Fervor, or Spirit of the Forgotten. All have +5 energy and 20% longer enchants.

I'm not sure how much the last two cost but the Totem axe is about 4-5k. They are from Prophecies, Faction, and NF respectivly.

i bought my totem axe for 4.5 K in LA...

as for the factions weapons i spoke of...you don't actually have to own factions..you can give the money and handful of materials to someone else, and they can go buy it and bring it back to you

If you have a two handed weapon how is your health going to be 55?
I personally have been successful with a wailing wand from vasburg armory and a -50 hp grim cesta

I have also found that using SS makes things go much slower even though it hurts adjacent foes. SV does 100 dmg is the attributes are set correctly and it is easy to apply to multiple characters

Wow i am rambling sorry about that

Good luck in making the 55 Necro : )

I personally prefer Spoil Victory over Spiteful Spirit. I think they are of about equal effectiveness, more or less depending on what you are farming. I just find speccing Blood more useful for a 55 than going Curses. Awaken the Blood, Blood Renewal, Vamp Gaze if you need a good finisher, etc.
